CWV Post 1914 Activity Schedule

Post 1914 meets at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Crescent Hill Road, Arden, North Carolina. Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of January, thru June, and September and October at 7:00 PM.

No meetings are held during the summer months of July and August. A Family Fellowship is held the last Friday of July at a local restaurant for members and their family members and friends.

The regular scheduled November meeting would be held on Thanksgiving so the November meeting is cancelled.

December sees the Post members heavily involved in the many and varied programs at the Asheville VA Medical Center and these activities take the place of a December meeting.

Bingo parties for the patients at the Asheville VA Medical Center and Nursing Home Care Unit are held on the first Monday of March, June, September and December at 7:00 PM.

Catholic War Veterans National Service Officers are available Monday thru Thursday except national holidays in Room B-402B at the VA Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Hours are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No appointments are necessary. The service officers stand ready to assist veterans and their dependents in filing claims for compensation and pension, survivor's benefits, access to health care and other veteran benefits.
